College life is full of new experiences and opportunities, but it can also bring its share of challenges. Conflicts between roommates, classmates, or within student organizations can be stressful and impact your academic performance, relationships, and overall well-being. Don’t let these issues get in the way of your success.
Nova Southeastern University’s Student Mediation Services (SMS) is here to help. We offer free and confidential support to resolve a variety of disputes, including roommate conflicts, academic disagreements, and group project challenges.
Our Mission: To offer NSU students and student clubs and organizations a forum for constructive conflict resolution, including formal mediation services and resolution strategies and skills development, in an informal and confidential setting.
Mediation is a confidential process that helps you and others work through disagreements to reach a mutually satisfying agreement. Our trained mediators guide you in open communication, exploring options, and finding solutions that work for everyone involved.
Your Role:
Mediation is free and confidential.
Are you struggling with conflict? Want to improve your communication skills? Our one-on-one conflict coaching can help.
This confidential service provides personalized guidance to help you understand your conflict styles and develop effective strategies. Whether you're dealing with a current challenge or looking to build your skills for the future, we can help.
