Peer Academic Consultants (PAC)

Meet the PAC

Sebastian Alberto Henriquez Abrue

Graduate Peer Academic Consultant

Hello! My name is Sebastian Henriquez and I am a first-year MBA student from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Throughout high school and college, I have studied and interned in Denmark, Spain, and North Carolina. Such abroad experiences have strengthened my cross cultural knowledge and interpersonal traits, but most importantly, they have taught me that uncertainty is part of life and that we should always identify any resources at our disposal to move forward. I know your time in college might not be exactly what you expected due to unforeseen challenges, however, you are not alone in your college journey; I am here to help you navigate those difficult times and also available to connect with anyone who is hesitant about studying away due to intrusive feelings. I look forward to see you!

Erika Medina

Graduate Peer Academic Consultant

Hi, my name is Erika Medina. I am a 3rd year School Psychology Doctoral Student. My areas of study and interest combine psychology, culture, disabilities, and education. I graduated with my bachelor's in psychology with minors in Spanish and ABA at NSU. I have experience working with students on how to balance school, work, and all of life's demands. I used this program during my undergraduate years at NSU and I still use some of the strategies today. Let's work together to find what works well for you!"

Emmanuel Umane

Peer Academic Consultant

Hey! My name is Emmanuel and I'm a sophomore at NSU studying Business Management with a Minor in Psychology. I have always appreciated receiving help from others to succeed as a student and have found a love for supporting and giving out my own advice to those who need it. My hobbies consist mostly of spontaneous activities, but I love to just chill at times. I felt that my academic goals to become a Consultant paired well with being a PAC, as I would be able to work with individuals and find out what works best for them. I hope to be a great help to everyone and that your classes go well.

Rithvik Jarugula

Peer Academic Consultant

My name is Rithvik Jarugula and I am a junior and I am majoring in Biology. I want to become a doctor, and I like to play sports. I wanted to become a PAC because I like to help people, and I feel like growing up I always needed someone to make sure I was on top of things, and now I have the opportunity to be that to someone else.

Kadian Taylor

Peer Academic Consultant

Welcome to our PAC community!
My name is Kadian, I am currently studying Elementary Education here at NSU. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve worked as a tutor, peer mediator, and mentor, and I’m excited to embrace the role of PAC. One of my biggest passions is serving others and helping people achieve their personal and academic goals, despite potential obstacles. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, cooking, and writing, and I love exploring different cultures and communities. Now that you know a little about me, I look forward to exploring your passions and goals during your college experience.
