Did you know there are special financial aid programs for Florida residents at NSU? Listed below are some of the grants and scholarships that may be available to you.
Please note: Generally, in order to qualify for Florida financial aid funds, you or your parent/guardian (if you are a dependent student) must be a Florida resident for 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of classes for the academic year for which Florida state aid funds are being requested. The primary intent of establishing residence in Florida must not be for the purpose of obtaining an education. Certain exceptions apply. For more information, please review NSU’s State Aid Application.

To apply for Florida state financial aid, new undergraduate students must complete a NSU State Aid Application.
The Florida Prepaid College Plan allows parents, grandparents, and others to lock-in current plan prices for their child’s future college education. If you have a Florida Prepaid College Plan, NSU will bill your plan for tuition, fees, and costs for on-campus housing based on hours of enrollment. However, the Prepaid College Plans are based on the tuition rates of the tax-assisted Florida public colleges and universities. Because NSU is a private, not-for-profit institution, you will need to cover the difference between tuition, fees, and on-campus housing costs and your Pre-Paid Plan allocations through other sources.
Students with an unrestricted Florida Prepaid Plan or special billing requests must complete the Florida Prepaid College Plan Billing Request Form. For details, visit the bursar's website.
