Peer Academic Consulting
The Tutoring and Testing Center offers Peer Academic Consulting (PAC), a personalized service to enhance your academic success. During sessions, you'll meet one-on-one with a consultant to address your specific needs and goals, giving you an edge in the classroom and beyond.
Peer Academic Consultants are not academic advisers. Advising creates degree-required course plans, while PAC supports those plans with detailed academic success goals. We focus on the "nitty-gritty" of your academics to ensure you meet your expectations. We recommend both advising and coaching for a comprehensive plan.
Please note: Traditional NSU PAC will return in the fall. For Summer 2025, students can receive student support through our partnership with Tutor.com.

This summer, the Tutoring and Testing Center is providing student success assistance through Tutor.com. This service is for students enrolled in a summer course. Once in your account, you can connect one-on-one with a student success tutor to discuss the following topics and more.

- Organization
- Study strategies

- Tutoring and Testing Center staff will provide access and message you follow-up steps to take.
- Once logged into tutor.com, select your topic and fill out the question or concept you want help with.
- After your session, you can go back and review it and save your tutor as a “favorite.”
