Students may qualify for refunds of financial aid, loan credits, or overpayments on their student account. Refunds can also stem from various account transactions, including adjustments to financial aid, tuition, fees, and withdrawing from classes. Choose between convenient direct deposit or traditional paper checks for receiving your refunds.

NSU is introducing a new policy affecting undergraduate students beginning with the Fall 2024 semester:
All institutional charges, such as tuition, fees, and housing, if applicable, must be paid in full or satisfied with payment arrangements by the following deadlines:
Undergraduate students who do not have their payment or payment arrangements finalized by the first day of the semester will have their class registration canceled that day.

New Policy & Critical Deadlines Student Accounts & Financial Aid Next Steps
Eligible students may now access their Form 1098-T for 2023 in SharkLink. The data reported on your Form 1098-T is for tuition, fees, scholarships, and grants paid to your NSU student account during the 2023 calendar year, not the academic year. The supplemental information is solely for your information. Only the data on the form is reported to the IRS.
Current students may access their Form 1098-T as follows:
Log in to SharkLink at https://sharklink.nova.edu.
Select “My Account” from the left navigation.
In the lower right corner under “Tax Forms” click “View 1098-T.”
Select a Tax Year (2023) from the drop-down menu.
Print for your Records.
Alumni who no longer have SharkLink access may log in to Self-Service Banner (SSB) at ssb.nova.edu using their NSU username and password. (Select “Enter Secure Area” > “Student” > “Student Records” > “Tax Notification.”)
Please note: NSU does not mail paper 1098-T statements.
