Supporting NSU
President Hanbury convenes several groups to support Nova Southeastern University’s mission of delivering innovative academic programs in a dynamic, lifelong learning environment, fusing a diversity of views into a single shared vision that will guide us into the future.
President's Council
The President’s Council facilitates communication and idea sharing between the university’s deans and vice presidents and is the leadership team charged with fulfilling Vision 2020 and, subsequently, Vision 2025. The council meets on a regular basis to discuss the state of NSU and address academic/administrative challenges and opportunities. The council also hosts an annual retreat to examine progress on the university’s business plan and how to strategize for the future to ensure NSU’s success.
The President's 64
The President’s 64, named for NSU’s founding year of 1964, is an elite group of student leaders who are charged with strengthening the relationship between NSU and its community. Representing all segments of NSU’s diverse student population, the group’s membership consists of 64 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who are nominated and selected for their positions.
